Agrivoltaics combines agricultural production and solar energy generation in the same space. Rather than having to choose between farming and producing energy, fields can do both simultaneously.

This approach uses strategically placed solar panels — typically on elevated structures with solar tracking — that let enough sunlight through for crops to thrive while generating clean electricity.
